Kinshi Tamago Recipe - Youtube Short Video
This was the perfect short to start the channel with, as Kinshi Tamago is used in various Japanese dishes. Making it a short allows people to quickly understand how to prepare it and add it to simple dishes, or eat it on its own. This video ties in nicely with the main long form videos, as it is featured in both videos and helps viewers understand the recipe more easily. It follows a typical short format, starting with a hook showing the end result, moving quickly through the cooking process, and ending with the final result, showing what it can be used for. It also refers back to the long form content and finishes with the standard ending phrase used in all shorts on the channel.
Tomato Sauce Chorizo Rice - Youtube Short video
Using footage recorded for the long form video on how to make Omurice, I create a short video in vertical format explaining how to make the simple rice component of this dish. The rice can also be eaten separately, allowing the short to stand out as a standalone video while working well with the long form content. It opens with engaging footage of the finished dish to hook the viewer, moves quickly through the cooking process, and ends with a similar final shot, showing what else the rice can be used for. In this case, it is used in Omurice, and each short ends with the same phrasing.
